The political group of presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte, the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), is set to forge an alliance with the Nationalist People鈥檚 Coalition (NPC) on Friday.
An e-mail advisory from the office of Sen. Aqulino 鈥淜oko鈥� Pimentel III said the two political groups will sign a 鈥淐oalition for Change鈥� agreement at聽10:00 a.m.聽in Makati City.
Duterte and Pimentel are chairman and president of PDP-Laban, respectively.
The NPC, on the other hand, is headed by businessman Eduardo 鈥淒anding鈥� Cojuangco Jr. Cojuangco鈥檚 party had endorsed the presidential candidacy of Duterte鈥檚 rival, Sen. Grace Poe, during the last elections.
