Every day, meteorologists are brave enough to deal with reports on ‘scary weather nightmares’ such as upcoming typhoons, hurricanes, and other man-made disasters. So, it came as a big surprise and amusement to watch how a spider made one American weatherman shriek in fright when it fell on his weather map during a live broadcast last week.

West Virginia weatherman Bryan Hughes blasted a high-pitched scream as the spider crawled on the camera lens before he was about to report the “Weather Eye” segment on local channel WOWK 13 .

“Argh! Jeez Louise!” Hughes screeched. He then walked way from the camera and after he mitigated his terror and laughed with his colleagues, he muttered, “Why did that just happen? I nearly lost my lunch…Oh man, saints alive, we’ve gotta get out there and kill those things.”
