The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination for May 2016.
Out of of 6,925 takers, 2,967 or 42.84 percent passed the exam, which was given by the Board of Accountancy in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.
鈥淔rom May 26 to May 27, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line,鈥 PRC said on its website ().
鈥淭hose who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals,鈥 it added.
The top performing schools are De La Salle University-Manila (with 54 out of 58 examinees passed), University of Santo Tomas (84 out of 93) and University of San Jose-Recoletos (108 out of 133).
Topping the exam is Karim Gonzales Abitago from the Universal Colleges of Para帽aque with a score of 92.17 percent. KS
