WATCH: Elephant dozes like a baby after caretaker sings lullaby

Who says lullabies are only sung for babies and children so they could sleep soundly. In Thailand, a lullaby makes an elephant sleep peacefully.

Videos uploaded on social media sites YouTube and Facebook by Save the Elephant Foundation shows Faamai the elephant bonding with her lovable caretaker, Sangduan 鈥淟ek鈥 Chailert, who is also the founder of the NGO.

In the first video uploaded on Monday, Faamai embraces Lek with her trunk. Lek swats Faamai gently with a pink towel to banish insects and other flying pests. While Lek serenades Faamai with her tender lullaby, the elephant drops to her knees and stumbles on the floor with Lek by her side.

Faamai can be heard breathing deeply with her trunk coiled near Lek, who is also in a resting position. In the second video uploaded last Wednessday, Lek joins Faamai as she lies down while humming to the tune of the elephant鈥檚 all-time favorite lullaby. According to the video, when the elephant鈥檚 eyes become droopy, Lek would regularly sing the lullaby.

The dynamic duo are residing in Elephant Nature Parks in the Northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. According to local Thai media site Phuket 黑料社, other Elephant Nature Parks are located in Phuket, Kanchanaburi, Surin and Cambodia.

Lek is dubbed as Thailand鈥檚 鈥榚lephant whisperer鈥 and has been featured in documenatries by several international media outlets. She was bestowed prestigious titles, such as Time Magazine鈥檚 鈥淗eroes of Asia鈥, Ford Foundation鈥檚 鈥淗ero of the Planet鈥, and one of the 鈥淲omen Heroes of Global Conservation鈥. Gianna Francesca Catolico
