Former budget chief and University of the Philippines economics professor Benjamin E. Diokno听on Sunday听declined to comment on President-elect Rodrigo Duterte鈥檚 announcement that he was being offered the top post of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

鈥淪orry, I can鈥檛 comment at the moment,鈥� was Diokno鈥檚 response when asked by the Inquirer via text if he would accept Duterte鈥檚 offer to assume the budget secretary post anew.
