Heavy traffic is expected in some parts of Pasay City on Friday as religious group Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) holds an evangelical and outreach mission at the Cuneta Astrodome.
In an advisory, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said congestion is expected from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 鈥渋n anticipation of our Iglesia brethren proceeding to the astrodome.鈥�
MMDA said affected areas include the stretch of F.B. Harrison, Edsa, Gil Puyat Avenue, and Roxas Boulevard.
The agency also advised motorists to take alternate routes going to and from their destination, 鈥渙r to stay home unless there is urgent business to attend to.鈥�
The event, dubbed as 鈥淟ingap Pamamahayag,鈥� is conducted by the INC鈥檚 Metro Manila South Sector. YG
