LOS BA脩OS, Laguna鈥擜 suspected illegal drug pusher was killed in a shootout with policemen in Antipolo City in Rizal province early Tuesday, police said.
A report from the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) regional police said the suspect was identified only as 鈥淛ojo.鈥�
It said the suspect fired at policemen when he sensed that he was dealing with lawmen during a buy-bust operation along Sumulong Highway in Barangay Sta. Cruz at 12:10 a.m.
Police recovered a .38 cal. gun, four packets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and P300 from the slain suspect. RAM/rga
