CCTV shows man leaped to death in Imus mall

MANILA, Philippines—A man was captured on closed-circuit television as he jumped to his death from the third level of a shopping mall in Imus, Cavite Thursday, police said.

The still unidentified man, estimated to be between 25 to 30 years old, was seen on a CCTV footage as he leaped to his death in Robinsons Place in Barangay Tanzang Luma 3, Imus town, Cavite at around 12:40 p.m., Calabarzon police regional director Chief Superintendent Gil Meneses said.

The man was instantly killed after slamming head first against the first floor of the shopping center, Meneses said.

Chief Inspector Romulo Dimaya of Imus police described the victim to be around 5’4″ in height, with long hair, and wearing eyeglasses, jeans and a black shirt.
