PRESIDENT Duterte on Monday accused the Liberal Party (LP) of mounting moves to unseat him by highlighting the issue of human rights violations.
鈥淟et鈥檚 not fool ourselves. Do you know who鈥檚 behind this? It鈥檚 the yellow,鈥� the President said, referring to the LP鈥檚 political color.
Addressing the oath-taking rites of his new appointees in Malaca帽ang, he said United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and US President Barack Obama also 鈥渞ode鈥� on the issue of human rights abuses regarding his administration鈥檚 bloody war against drugs.
鈥淭hey think that if they can build a case against me, I鈥檒l be impeached,鈥� he said. 鈥淢y God! I tell you frankly, when I assumed office, in this quest of mine, I have prepared to lose my honor, my life and the presidency.鈥�
