Local governments in the provinces of Rizal and Bulacan have suspended classes on Sept. 28, 2016, due to heavy rain early Wednesday and the forecast of more rain.
The class suspensions followedÌýa heavy rainfall warning released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at 1 a.m.
At 7 a.m., the PAGASA released Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 3Ìýraising the Yellow warning overÌý, , , & . It warned of flooding inÌýlow lying areas.
Classes have been suspended in the following areas/towns:
Metro Manila
- Malabon
- Navotas
Antipolo City
Rizal
- Rodriquez – all levels public and private
- San MateoÌý– all levels public and private
- Taytay
- Cainta
Bulacan
- Meycauayan
- Marilao
- Bocaue
