/ 07:32 AM October 31, 2011

Siblings Bernardine and Sally Mae Siso once again reigned supreme in the 18-under division of the 18th leg of the Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Championship yesterday at the tennis courts in Laray, Consolacion town, northern Cebu.

Bernardine brought home the boys’ title with a 10-2 annihilation of Fritz Satera in their finals battle while Sally Mae got into trouble earlier in the girls 18 titular match but eventually closed it out in her favor, 10-4, against Christine Bellita.

Sally Mae scored the first point but the game was interrupted when Bellita broke a string in her racquet.

Sally Mae offered Bellita her spare racquet, which seemed to give the latter luck as she took the lead at 4-1.

Bellita changed racquet for the second time in the match and this proved to be a bad move as he succumbed to Sally Mae, who went full throttle without conceding any point to Bellita.

Another netter who had a great outing in this Group 4 Philippine Tennis Association (Philta)-sanctioned tournament was Alyssa Mae Bornia as she clinched two titles.
