Suspect in killing of brother, sister-in-law over land dispute surrenders

MANILA, Philippines—A man who killed his own brother and sister-in-law in Pangasinan over an alleged land dispute surrendered to Alaminos City police chief late Sunday afternoon, saying that he did not regret the crime he committed.

Superintendent Rolie Saltat of Alaminos City Police Station said on Monday that Lyndon Milan surrendered to authorities at around 5 p.m.

The suspect admitted shooting his younger brother, Police Superintendent Lloyd Milan,39, and his sister-in-law Cherryl using an M16 rifle and a .45 caliber pistol.

The police chief and his wife were immediately rushed to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital after being shot but were both declared dead on arrival.
