Aboitiz-led weather forecast service bags top PH Quill Award

WEATHERPHILIPPINES HONORED AT 15TH PHILIPPINE QUILL AWARDS. Aboitiz-led private weather information provider WeatherPhilippines Foundation, in its maiden entry, bagged the 15th Philippine Quill Awards鈥 Top Award for Communication Management. WeatherPhilippines Foundation, Aboitiz-led private weather information provider, has been recognized as one of the country鈥檚 most outstanding organizations in communication management at the 15th聽Philippine Quill Awards.

The foundation聽received an Award of Excellence (Non-Profit Campaigns) and the Top Division Award in Communication Management during聽the awards ceremony held by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Newport City, Pasay City last July 5.

Valeriano said in a statement聽on Tuesday.
Aboitiz Group said three of its initiatives also received Awards of Excellence: Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc.鈥檚 (AEV鈥檚) BetterWorld Campaign (for internal communication), and Aboitiz Eyes, (both for publications and digital communications).

Aboitiz said AEV鈥檚 BetterWorld Campaign is an internal cascade of the company鈥檚 Aboitiz BetterWorld policy that 鈥渋nspired a paradigm shift in the way team members delivered聽the Aboitiz commitment to build a sustainable enterprise that can be entrusted to future generations,鈥 while聽Aboitiz Eyes is the firm鈥檚 monthly digital publication that has been 鈥渢ransformed into a powerful communication tool engaging a growing and diverse audience.鈥

AEV鈥檚 Media Relations Program (Media Relations) also won a Merit Award.

Abotiz said its media relations program was 鈥渋nstrumental鈥 in building, enhancing, and protecting its reputation and聽effectively implemented without an outsourced external agency, thus resulting in significant savings for the company.

The Philippine Quill Awards is considered the country鈥檚 most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication.
