NBI arrests 3 fake dentists in Quezon City

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested in an entrapment operation three fake dentists in Quezon City.

Arrested in an entrapment operation conducted Tuesday were Edna Busaysay, Anthony Apon, and Susana Villacuatro. They were arrested in two laboratories in Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

The three are facing a case for illegal practice of dentistry, in violation of R.A. 9484 otherwise known as the Dental Act of 2007 as well violation of Article 215 (Swindling and Estafa) of the Revised Penal Code.

The case stemmed from the complaint filed before the NBI by Dr. Mark Villalobos, President of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA). JE
