A barangay staffer who had been helping in the implementation of the antidrug campaign in Pasig City was killed on Wednesday.
Eduardo Sendon, 59, was watching television inside his house in Villa Sta. Ana, Barangay San Miguel, at 5:20 p.m. when still unidentified men shot him repeatedly.
The victim, who had been working for the barangay since 1997, was helping out in the implementation of 鈥淥plan Tokhang鈥� in the area, said barangay executive officer Miguel Duterte.
However, a report sent to the Eastern Police District said that Sendon鈥檚 brother, Alberto, had told probers that the victim was 鈥渉ooked on illegal drugs.鈥� An investigation is still ongoing.
