LOCAL riders try to hold their ground against foreign riders in today鈥檚 8th leg of the 2011 MS Motosuit Motocross Series in barangay Liburon, Carcar City, southern Cebu.
The race, dubbed 2nd Mayor Nice Opura Motocross Cup, will have at least six Danish riders, who will go up against the riders from Cebu, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Davao and Dipolog, said organizer Lou Ornopia. The race starts at 9 a.m.
As an added treat, a wide screen will be put up in the race track where riders and motocross enthusiasts can watch live the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Marquez fight, said Ornopia.
鈥淔ans will enjoy motocross action without missing the fight of Pacquiao,鈥� said Ornopia.
Categories to be competed in are the pro category, expert, intermediate, novice open production, mini class, pewee, open enduro, local enduro, executive B, executive C, executive A and beginner open production.
