Severe Tropical Storm “Ramil” has left the Philippine area of responsibility at midnight but the northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to bring rains over Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.

Light to moderate with possible occasional heavy rains and thunderstorms will still prevail over Palawan due to the trough of Ramil, the weather bureau also said.

In its latest advisory, Pagasa said the Cagayan Valley region and provinces of Apayao and Ilocos Norte is projected to have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon while the Cordillera region and the rest of Ilocos would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
