Senate OKs joint resolution raising pay of AFP men, uniformed personnel
The Senate has approved on third and final reading a joint resolution that would raise the pay of military and the uniformed personnel (MUP) in government starting next year.
Twenty senators approved late Wednesday night Senate Joint Resolution No. 11.

The measure must be approved by the Senate and the House of Representatives before it is transmitted to President
Once enacted into law, the pay Police Officer 1 and those with equivalent rank, for instance, would be raised n by 100 percent.
