President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Martin Di帽o聽as undersecretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Duterte signed Di帽o鈥檚 appointment paper聽on Monday聽but was released only聽on Tuesday聽to the media.

Di帽o was eased out of the SBMA after Duterte聽appointed lawyer Wilma Eisma聽as the both SBMA chairman and administrator. /jpv
