House OKs tougher rules vs hazing

/ 07:03 AM January 24, 2018

The House of Representatives has approved on third reading a bill seeking to plug loopholes in the hazing law and banning all forms of hazing during initiation rites by fraternities or sororities.

House Bill No. 6573 was unanimously passed on Monday. The proposed measure expands the definition of hazing as any act that endangers the physical health or safety of fraternity recruits.
