Two men on drug list fall in Pasig

Two suspected drug personalities, who were on the police’s drug watchlist, have been arrested in a separate operations in Pasig City.

Armed with an arrest warrant, members of the Eastern Police District (EPD) arrested Nestor Rubio along Westbank Road, Barangay Maybunga.

Rubio was then detained at Pasig City Police Station after his arrest at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

In a separate operation that day, police also arrested Manuel Pasamba, a fish vendor, along Westbank Road in Barangay Manggahan.

Pasamba also had a warrant for his arrest.

The warrants were issued by Judge Ma. Theresa Cruz of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 151.

Both suspects were charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /cbb
