BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — A teenager, who escaped from the provincial jail with another teen on Saturday, surfaced over social networking site Facebook to apologize.
In a post on March 4, the 15-year-old boy, who is standing trial for robbery, said: “I am sorry that I escaped. I am fed up with life in jail. No one is helping me anyway. Sorry.”
He fled with a 17-year-old boy, who was detained on a charge of direct assault, by removing a padlock with a guitar string.
Maybelle Blossom Sevillena, provincial administrator, has sought information on the whereabouts of the teenagers.
“Be assured that the police and other agencies have been alerted for a manhunt and capture of the escapees,” she said. —Melvin Gascon
