A formal complaint should be filed before the Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) before it could discuss the case of drivers who refuse to give student fare discounts.
LTFRB board member Atty. Aileen Lizada said on Monday that a video complaint is more effective.
鈥淢as effective talaga kapag video, at least klaro na masyado, the details are already in the video itself, no need for clarification (Video is more effective because it is clear and the details are already there. There is no need for clarification,鈥 Lizada told聽.
鈥淏ut a picture of the plate number together with the details (such as time and place of incident) will suffice,鈥 she said.
Lizada said that in filing a complaint, a 鈥渟chool ID is generally accepted鈥 even if there is no date of validity.
The LTFRB executive also assured the public that LTFRB鈥檚 public assistance group would help the complainants.
鈥淜ailangan po mayroon tayong complaint under oath (We need a formal complaint under oath), but our public assistance will assist anyone who is willing to formalize their complaint,鈥 she said. /ee
