Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in November 2018 among all regions.<\/p>\n\n
Of the 945 new HIV cases reported nationwide during that month, 29 percent or 272 were from the National Capital Region, followed by Calabarzon with 14 percent or 131 cases.<\/p>\n\n
