SEVENTY-FIVE families who contributed to the city\u2019s growth will be honored with the \u201cPinalanggang Sugbuanong Banay\u201d or \u201cBeloved Cebuano Family\u201d award by the Cebu City government during the city\u2019s 75th Charter Day celebration on Friday.<\/p>\n
The families were chosen for their achievements that brought pride and honor to the city and for being successful in their respective field before 1965. Many of them were prominent since during the Spanish times.<\/p>\n
