Martin Romualdez for his <a href=\"https:\/\/newsinfo.inquirer.net\/1568684\/bongbong-marcos-says-son-sandro-very-qualified-to-run-for-congress\">\u201cskills and readiness\u201d to be Ilocos Norte representative.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Romualdez is a cousin of Marcos Jr.<\/p>\n<p>During his proclamation rally at the provincial capitol compound in Ilocos Norte, the younger Marcos said that Romualdez\u2019 political and congressional mentorship has helped him become capable of running for a Congress seat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHigit sa lahat, dinala ko rin ang aking amo, ang aking boss, si House Majority Floor Leader Martin Romualdez,\u201d said Sandro Marcos as he acknowledged guests and officials at his political rally.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>(Most of all, I also brought with me my boss, House Majority Floor Leader Martin Romualdez.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDalawang taon po akong nagtrabaho sa kanyang opisina sa Kongreso at siya ang dahilan kung bakit handang-handa na po akong maging congressman,\u201d Marcos continued.<\/p>\n<p>(I worked for his office in Congress for two years and he is the reason why I am fully ready to become congressman.)<\/p>\n<p>During a gathering early this month to celebrate his birthday, Marcos also acknowledged the support and training he received from Romualdez.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLahat po ng natutunan ko sa Kongreso ay dahil sa kaniya. Ako po ay nagpapasalamat na nandito siya ngayon,\u201d Marcos said of Romualdez who was present during the event.<\/p>\n<p>(All the lessons I learned from Congress are because of him.
