MANILA, Philippines \u2014 The Department of Education<\/a> (DepEd) has set the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH) for the fiscal year 2023 on May 26, 2024, nationwide.<\/p>\n

According to DepEd in releasing memorandum No. 13, S. of 2024, passing the NQESH is one of the prerequisites for aspiring applicants for Principal and Assistant Principal positions in public elementary and secondary schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this regard, the DepEd, through the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development (BHROD), shall administer the 2023 NQESH through a secured online platform at a designated examination site on May 26, 2024,\u201d the memo read.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe examination shall be administered simultaneously nationwide,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n

DepEd said aspiring NQESH takers must meet the following qualifications and have acquired any of the following experience requirements as of February 29, 2023:<\/p>\n
