In the September 7 issue, a front-page story\u2014\u201cUS cable says general gained from Abu kidnap\u201d\u2014mistakenly identified the present assignment of Lt. Gen. Juancho Sabban. \u00a0Sabban is the commander of the Western Command based in Palawan, which has jurisdiction over the West Philippine Sea\u2014not the Western Mindanao Command, which is based in Zamboanga City. Sabban was the commanding general of Western Mindanao Command\u2019s Task Force Comet from February 2007 to July 2009.<\/p>\n
