It’s his turn to complain of harassment.<\/p>\n
Byron Garcia, brother of Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, said Filinvest sent security personnel to the Corona del Mar\u00a0 in Talisay City to \u201charass\u201d him and other residents.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey distributed leaflets and said that our association was illegal. It’s like a war zone in the subdivision,\u201d Garcia said.<\/p>\n
\u201c They are terrorizing us here,\u201d Byron\u00a0 told Cebu Daily 黑料社.
\nThe night before Garcia parked two of his vehicles to block part of a diversion\u00a0 access road to Escala, a new subdivision being developed by Filinvest.<\/p>\n
Security forces moved the vehicles away from the road yesterday morning.<\/p>\n
In a previous interview, Garcia said homeowners would\u00a0file charges against Filinvest for not delivering on its promises to provide various services and amenities, which were cited in their sale pitch to attract\u00a0 buyers.<\/p>\n
He said Corona del Mar was supposed to have jogging trails, a beach volleyball court, wide roads and a children’s playground but these were not complied with.<\/p>\n
Garcia said that his group would file a complaint with\u00a0 the\u00a0 House and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB).<\/p>\n
