Oluwasinaayomi Olabode Popularly known as Omo Iya Sina is a Creative Broadcast Media Personality per excellence. The Articulate Presenter is from Ile Oloye, Oje Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND
The CEO of WEALTHCOME ENTERTAINMENT & MEDIA LIMITED (Operation of Ibile9jaradio & TV and OMO IYA SINA MEDIA CONCEPTS) started his Primary Education at H.L.A Primary School, Aremo Oja’gbo and later to I.D.C Primary School, Olunloyo, Ibadan. He also attended Olubadan High School, Adekile Ibadan, for his Secondary Education. He proceed to Olabisi Onabanjo University to study Mass Communication. He later went to International Institute Of Journalism Abuja, Ibadan Study Center to study Mass Communication Journalism.
BROADCASTING JOURNEY
The Instrumentalist and Rokeke class of Edutainment Program Originator came from Ayan(Talking Drummer) family and play all sort of drums. He works with one Music Ministry then that has a Church and Recording Studio where people comes to Record their Musical Jingles, and he also plays for the Church and the Studio. That was where he met his Boss that trained him; in person of Alhaji AbdulRasaq AbdulGaneey (Mr GRA). Though, the owner of the Music Ministry; Evangelist Peter Ola Aremu (Baba Oniburedu) discovered his talent.
According to Omo Iya Sina, “I have so many bosses in this industry because am still young in broadcasting because i started broadcasting in the year 2003 even before i started training from my boss, but MR GRA is my boss cos i graduated from his training school and start my own broadcast program.
”When I started then, I love Toba Opaleye’s Presentation and i wish to be like him. I later discovered Yemi Sonde (Jigan Akala) after Toba Opaleye’s death. So, i divert the love to him and people says we present alike even till now… but my boss is Mr GRA, he’s my mentor, my role model. though, i still love and respect Yemi Sonde till eternity because I gain alot from him”.
Furthermore, he has work with Midland Radio 89.0 in Kwara state, Radio Nigeria; Amuludun 99.1 FM, Ibadan, Oluyole 98.5 FM, Ibadan, Radio OYO, Ibadan, Unique 103.1 FM Ilesha, Ayefele Fresh fm (Online then), Space 90.1 FM, Ibadan where he left as Head of Yoruba programme unit, Inspiration 100.5 FM Ibadan, Thrill 103.5 FM where he also left as Head of program, Pensioners’ FM 106.7, Agidigbo 88.7 Fm as Head of Marketing & OAP.
The Versatile On Air Personality is currently working with Impact Business Radio(IBR 92.5 FM) & Impact Africa Television(IATV) as Head of Programs for both the Radio & TV and working as Media Consultant for some other radio stations and he’s also running his own online radio and TV, (Ibile9jaradio & TV) under the umbrella of his Media outfit, WEALTHCOME ENTERTAINMENT & MEDIA LIMITED.
He’s also an online radio developer and also Media consultant that consult for people on how to establish/own a terrestrial and online Radio & TV station with ease. He organised & anchor event as well.
He also said, “My focus is to be the best Broadcast Media personality that will be recognized throughout the world and to have my own Media outfit.
He advised his colleagues to try to be themselves and should avoid copying someone’s content.
