A new Emir of Kano has emerged following the removal of Sanusi from the position today.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has been named as the new Emir of Kano by the Kano state government.
Bayero is the son of late Emir Ado Bayero. He now replaces Muhammad Sanusi II, who was dethroned and banished to Nasarawa today.
