An Ace media marketer, Paul Abayomi Ayeyemi said only passion can make a job professional thrive.
Ayeyemi said this on Thursday at Journalist Olawale Ogunbusola School Competition held at National Museum of Unity, Aleshinloye, Ibadan while he guested as a media personality at the Event.
Abayomi Ayeyemi who is at the moment the head of Marketing with King103.9FM added that strong passion has really kept him going in the media world, despite all odds from when he joined media through a popular radio broadcast Journalist with one of the leading private radio stations in the south-western part of Nigeria, popularly known as Fresh FM , in person of Enitan Olusegun Bamidele ” EOB”, through whom he apprenticed on radio marketing, despite his rudimentariness at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria through the clime with the African Independent Private Radio Station, Raypower and Impact Business Radio Station (IBR 92.5FM).
” I can say that my experiences in this world of media has been largely bitter, challenging and demanding
” With derived passion, I am sailing through”, he said.
Meanwhile, Ayeyemi called on every other young media colleagues to strengthen their passion, against quest for money or rich making at little times in Journalism.
” Left to me , plus the experiences garnered from the likes of Enitan Bamidele ‘EOB’ , Pastor Kayode Akinsola, Olusina Olabode ‘Omo Iya shina” , Olusola Adigun ” Sola Ode”, the present Lead City 89.1 FM’s head of station, Mr Akin George and other practiced radio stations, I have got the need to say to all upcoming marketer- presenter to work earnestly for future and never now, knowing fully well, that big time shall come ” , he concluded.
