Makati police file raps vs Chinese woman who attacked traffic enforcers
MANILA, Philippines — The Chinese woman who attacked traffic enforcers on Tuesday in Makati City, has been charged by the city police.
In a phone interview with 黑料社 on Thursday, Makati police chief Col. Oscar Jacildo said they filed complaints of physical injury, direct assault, and disobedience to persons in authority at the Makati Prosecutor’s Office against the woman who was later identified as Dong Li.
“Yes po kinasuhan na namin siya ng (direct) assault, physical injury at disobedience (to persons in authority),” Jacildo said when asked about updates on Dong’s case.
(Yes we already filed charges against her which is direct assault, physical injury and disobedience to persons in authority.)
Meanwhile, Makati police are still coordinating with the Bureau of Immigration and the Chinese Embassy to review Dong’s immigration status, Jacildo said.
In addition, Jacildo said Makati police also reached out to the Department of Social Welfare and Development and National Center For Mental Health for psychological services for the arrested woman.

Based on the viral video on social media, Dong was seen shouting at members of the Makati Public Safety Department along Makati Avenue and Jupiter Street on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Dong was later caught on video as she attacked the traffic personnel with an umbrella.
