34 domestic flights canceled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines—A total of 34 domestic flights and an incoming international flight were canceled on Wednesday due to bad weather brought by rains, according to the Manila International Airport Authority.

At least 24 local flights of Cebu Pacific were canceled, according to an MIAA list furnished the Inquirer.

They were 5J 891, 5J 893, 5J 909, 5J 915, 5J 919, 5J 895, 5J 896 and 5J 913, all bound for Caticlan.

Also canceled were the following Cebu Pacific flights from Caticlan: 5J 892, 5J 894, 5J 920, 5J 908, 5J 897, 5J 898, 5J 914 and 5J 916.

Other canceled Cebu Pacific flights: 5J 821 bound for Virac, Catanduanes, and the return flight 5J 822; 5J 771 bound for Pagadian City; 5J 521 bound for Naga City and the return flight 5J 522; 5J 531 bound for Busuanga, Palawan, and the return flight 5J 532; and 5J 533 bound for Cebu City.

Four Air Philippines flights were also canceled: 2P 039 bound for Naga City and the return flight 2P 040; 2P 045 bound for Caticlan and the return flight 2P 046.

In Manila, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines flights depart from the NAIA Terminal 3.

From NAIA Terminal 4, also known as the old Manila Domestic Terminal, four Seair flights were canceled: 401 and 402, both bound for Rodriguez, northern Palawan; and 313 and 463, bound for Tablas Island and El Nido, Palawan, respectively.

Also canceled were Seair flights 314 and 464 from Tablas and El Nido.

Meanwhile, an incoming international flight—Cebu Pacific’s 5J 673 from Beijing—was also canceled Wednesday, the MIAA said.
