Murder suspect tries to sell car with dead GF in backseat
A man accused of murdering his girlfriend reportedly tried to sell her car with the victim’s body in the backseat a day before it was found by police.
The body of Pamela Paz, 44, was discovered in a parking lot in Tennessee in the United States on May 2, as per Fox affiliate WZTV yesterday, June 15.
Robert Miquel Johnson, 33, was identified as the main suspect following the investigation and was also Paz’s boyfriend at the time of the crime. An autopsy showed that Paz had died from neck trauma and/or strangulation.
“He was interviewed and provided an alibi, which was subsequently proven to be false,” the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said in a release cited by the news outlet.
An unidentified witness, meanwhile, told police that Johnson had tried to sell her car with the body of Paz in the backseat on May 1.
