Man nabbed in Oriental Mindoro buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN – A man was arrested by police and personnel of the Philippine Drugs Enforcement Agency Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) in a buy-bust on Tuesday afternoon in Victoria town in Oriental Mindoro province, according to a report from Mimaropa police.

Suspect Marco Osia, 39, auto-mechanic, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in exchange for P1,000 in Barangay Mabini.

Also seized from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about four grams and valued at P27,000.

Suspect is under police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2012.
