Cops nab armed drug suspect in Laguna

LUCENA CITY––Police arrested Sunday an armed drug suspect in Calamba City in Laguna province.

The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police reported that anti-narcotics agents nabbed at 6:45 p.m. Jhomel Necerio after selling shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer acting as a drug user in Barangay Parian.

The suspect yielded 11 sachets of crystal meth. Authorities also found Necerio carrying a loaded caliber .38 gun.

The suspect was detained and faced charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, gun laws, and election gun ban.
