TUGUEGARAO CITY – Two persons died while five others were injured when their vehicle struck roadside trees in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan on Monday night. In a belated report on Wednesday, Chief Master Sgt. Vladimir Enteria, Sanchez Mira police chief investigator, identified the fatalities as Demi Mar Sadoy, who died on the spot; and Mark Gil Manantan, who was declared dead on arrival at a hospital. Enteria said the victims’ car hit the trees in Barangay Callungan, possibly due to mechanical trouble or human error. The slippery road due to incessant rains could also be a factor in the crash, he added. Investigators said the victims were on their way to Claveria town at the time of the accident.
