More than P174,000 鈥榮habu鈥� seized in Camarines Sur buy-busts

LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested three suspected drug personalities and seized over P174,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur on Thursday (April 21) night.
Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said in a report that Marvin Marcial, 31, was arrested at Barangay Anayan in Pili town at around 6:15 p.m.
Marcial was a high-value target and included in the illegal drugs watch list in the region.
Police recovered a sachet or 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000 from Marcial.
In Magarao town, Joseph Glenn Candido, 34, was arrested in Barangay Bagong Sirang at around 7:40 p.m.
The police recovered four sachets of shabu worth P2,000.
In Naga City, John Kyle Vertudazo, 27, was also arrested in Barangay Sta. Cruz at around 9:40 p.m.
A sachet of shabu worth P2,040 was confiscated from the suspect. INQ
