Pampanga holds 2-day mass 2nd booster vax vs COVID-19

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga—The provincial government in this city held a two-day mass vaccination, which began Friday, for second booster shots against COVID-19 for qualified individuals at the Robinsons Starmills mall.
Children 5 to 11 years old will also be accommodated for their first and second doses during the event, and those at least 18 years old who want to get their first booster shot.
The provincial government announced Thursday on its social media page that it would give second booster shots only to healthcare workers, senior citizens, and immunocompromised individuals.
It said healthcare workers qualified for second booster shots include those working in hospitals, quarantine or isolation facilities, national and local government health offices and centers, disaster management offices, medical and dental clinics, and diagnostic and dialysis centers.
Healthcare workers in institutions like orphanages, nursing homes, correctional facilities, and drug treatment and rehabilitation centers will be accommodated.
Those who want to get the second booster shot must bring their vaccination cards, first booster cards and a photocopy of their Professional Regulation Commission or company identification cards.
The elderly are encouraged to bring their senior citizen card, vaccination and first booster cards.
The provincial government will also administer second booster shots to those with immune system conditions and those advised by their medical doctors to get another booster shot. INQ
