Mandaue City cops nab ‘high-value’ drug suspect; seize P884,000 ‘shabu’
MANILA, Philippines — Police operatives in Mandaue City have arrested a high-value drug suspect and confiscated P884,000 worth of crystal meth, locally known as “shabu”, during a buy-bust.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported Monday that suspect Jude Troyo Tahanlangit, 42, was collared by the Mandaue City Police at Purok Orchids, Barangay Opao on Sunday morning.
The PNP said at least 130 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P884,000 was seized from the suspect.
Also confiscated during the drug sting are one pouch and the buy-bust money, the PNP noted.
