Cops hunting for man wanted for molesting 4 Camarines Sur teachers
LEGAZPI CITY—The Philippine National Police said on Wednesday, August 10, that it had identified the suspect in the alleged molestation of four teachers inside a school in Ocampo town in Camarines Sur province on Monday.
Lieutenant Sheralyn Samonte, the spokesperson of the Camarines Sur police, said they were preparing the charges, while their operatives were conducting an operation to locate and arrest the suspect who remains at large.
Major Reynaldo Balindan, chief of the Ocampo police, said the armed suspect, with his face covered, entered the teachers’ office and molested them at noon on Monday.
Balindan did not specify the name of the school. He also declined to say whether it was a public or private institution.
Initial reports said the suspect first declared a hold-up and took the cellphones and cash of the victims. He then violated the victims in the office in an isolated area of the campus.
