According to Rogelio Sending Jr., Cagayan provincial information officer, cleanup operations were still underway in Sanchez Mira, Lal-lo, Allacapan, Aparri, and Abulug.
While Maymay has dissipated, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that Tropical Depression Neneng is approaching Philippine landmass and is forecast to make landfall in the Babuyan Islands or Batanes by Sunday.听听听

According to Rogelio Sending Jr., Cagayan provincial information officer, cleanup operations were still underway in the flood-ravaged towns of Sanchez Mira, Lal-lo, Allacapan, Aparri, and Abulug.
Sending said the government of Sanchez Mira suspended Friday classes at all levels in both private and public schools.
Classes from pre-school to senior high school in Lal-lo, Allacapan, Aparri, and Abulug were also suspended.
Mayor Joseph Llopis of the island town of Calayan said he had met with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council in preparation for Tropical Depression 鈥淣eneng,鈥 which was last located 1,015 听kilometers east of extreme northern Luzon. INQ
