Pampanga COVID-19 update: 227 active cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The active COVID-19 cases in this province stood at 227 as of Friday, the provincial government announced on Saturday.

In its latest report, the provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit also showed that all 21 localities of Pampanga – 2 component cities and 19 municipalities – have active COVID-19 cases.

The capital city of San Fernando has the most active cases with 85 recorded, followed by Floridablanca with 63 cases and Lubao with 12 cases.

FEATURED STORIES

The towns of Apalit, Bacolor, Candaba, Macabebe, Masantol, Sasmuan and Sta. Rita have the least number of active cases with a single patient each.

The provincial government recorded eight COVID-related deaths in the last 10 days, the report also said.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, Pampanga has recorded a total of 61,911 COVID-19 cases of which 59,003 have recovered while 2,681had died.
