Drug suspect busted in Biñan City

LUCENA CITY — Anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested early Wednesday, Feb. 22, three alleged shabu (crystal meth) peddlers in buy-bust operations in Biñan City, Laguna, police said.

The Region 4A police reported that members of the city drug enforcement unit collared Arnel Montana and Tricee Padua around 4 a.m. after they sold shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Canlalay.

The operatives seized from the suspects five sachets of meth worth P45,500.

The same police team busted Johmer Pradas at 1:15 a.m. in Barangay Platero.

Pradas was found in possession of six sachets of shabu worth P11,700.

The three suspects were tagged as street-level pushers in the city.

All suspects were detained and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
