The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will suspend the number coding scheme during the observance of the Holy Week next month. MMDA chair Romando Artes said on Friday that the number coding scheme will be suspended from April 6 to April 10. Those days have been declared as holidays by the government. The MMDA also created a multiagency command center (MACC) 鈥渢o ensure a peaceful and meaningful observance of Lent this year.鈥� The MACC, according to Artes, will monitor the 鈥渁ctual status鈥� of major transport terminals all over the capital region, particularly bus terminals, to ensure the safe travel of passengers to their respective destinations. 鈥擠empsey Reyes
