“One of the priorities of our men and women on the ground is to strictly enforce these policies. I urge all elements to use the power of persuasion in dealing with the public to avoid the unnecessary use of violence,” he added.

The Black Nazarene motorcade will begin on Good Friday, April 7, around Quiapo, Manila.

The motorcade is part of the Holy Week celebration in the country.

One of the most important religious events for the Catholics, Holy Week is revered as the most sacred week in the liturgical year in Christianity.
