Authorities caught three men transporting P2-million worth of dried marijuana bricks in Mountain Province on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). 

MANILA, Philippines — Authorities caught three men transporting P2-million worth of dried marijuana bricks in Mountain Province on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

In a report, the PDEA provincial office identified the suspects as Rico Santos, 25; Alex Santos, 25; and John Paul De Leon, 24.

Police caught the suspects transporting the narcotics around 8:25 a.m. during an interdiction operation along a road in Sitio Malupa, Abatan, Bauko.

Recovered from them were P1,939,800 worth of 16 dried marijuana bricks, weighing 16,165 grams; the vehicle used to transport the illegal drugs; two backpacks; a tube; a lighter; two vapes; and an identification card.

The suspects and confiscated items were currently under PDEA Mountain Province’s custody.
