TRB: Contactless toll collection dry run on expressways continues
MANILA, Philippines — The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) announced that the dry run for the contactless toll collection in selected toll plazas in the expressways will continue until the end of the year.
“All previously qualified Toll Plazas shall continue to implement the dry-run until December 31, 2023,” the TRB said in its advisory on Tuesday.
Some of the toll plazas included in the dry run are those in the North Luzon Expressway, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, South Luzon Expressway, and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway, among others.
Meanwhile, those not included in the previous dry runs will be evaluated for their inclusion, of which will announce whether they will be included.
“The remaining non-qualified Toll Plazas shall be evaluated for inclusion in the dry-run, and proper advisory for their participation shall be posted accordingly in due course,” the TRB added.
