3 suspected drug traffickers yield P590,000 shabu in Rizal, Cavite
LUCENA CITY — Three suspected drug traffickers were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday in buy-bust operations in Rizal and Cavite and yielded more than P590,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and two illegal firearms, police said.
The Region 4A police reported on Wednesday, March 6, that operatives in San Mateo, Rizal held one alias “Jober” at 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday after he sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Maly.
The law enforcers seized from the suspect, tagged as a “high-value” target in the government’s drug war, 26 plastic sachets containing shabu weighing a total of 76.9 grams worth about P522,920 in the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) valuation.

Also confiscated from the suspect was a caliber .9mm pistol loaded with four bullets without the required government permits.

Article continues after this advertisementIn Bacoor City, Cavite, police officers busted “Crystalyn” and “Erick” at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay Queens Row East.
The suspects were found in possession of 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000. Erick also yielded an illegal .38 gun with two bullets.
All suspects are under police custody and face a complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Jober and Erick will also face another case for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
